About me
Gabriel M Lim Tiong Tee, 25, currently a level 3 BA(Hons) Jazz Music Performance student in Lasalle College of the Arts. Taking piano as his main study and having the honor of studying under the tutelage of Tan Wei Xiang and Chok Kerong.
Gabriel is also a Lasalle College of the Arts Scholarship Recipient and Lasalle College of the Arts have also nominated him for the nation's highest accolade for youth, the Singapore Youth Award (SYA).
He is also an active performer, composer, arranger and teacher. Recently, Gabriel was appointed as the Musical Director for the Aretha Franklin Tribute concert in Lasalle College of the Arts. Leading the band for 3 shows consisting of top Singaporean musicians. He was also an active committee member and the section leader of the Audioimage Wind Ensemble’s Saxophone section during 2015-2019.
Moving on with his career as a musician, Gabriel is an accomplished pianist taking on many professional gigs working with renowned singers and musicians. He is widely known for his virtuosity and versatility in his craft. He also teaches piano and he is the founder, music director and conductor of Nan Chiau Alumni Band.
